Communication training session in Sidi Bouzid
In order to implement the communication campaign properly, the Associative Action organized a training session related to the awareness and communication campaign, for the members of the municipality of Sidi Bouzid, as well as the members of local CSOs, on the 13th of June 2017. During the training, the Associative Action trained the participants on the best practices to use with citizens, and proposed a design model for the communication tools. This model was the subject of debate and consultation between the members of the municipality and those of the local CSOs. By the end of the training, a communication plan was developed identifying the quantity of communication tools that will be provided by Associative Action, the distribution of roles between the members of the municipality and the local CSOs for the execution of the awareness and communication campaign, as well as the dates and the deadline for each activity of the campaign.
Signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement of the municipality of Sidi Bouzid
On the 22th of May 2017, the municipality of Sidi Bouzid signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsabilities of each stakeholders during the process.

Advocacy meeting with the Municipality of Sidi Bouzid
On April 27th, 2017, the Associative Action organized an advocacy meeting with the municipality of Sidi Bouzid in favor of adopting the Participatory Budget process.
The experts of the Associative Action presented the project while explaining the implementation process of the Participatory Budget mechanism: the different activities and the timetable for implementation.
The experts cited the various advantages that this project will present for the municipality, the local NGOs and the citizens.
A second advocacy meeting was held with the local NGOs on April 13th, 2017.
The agreement of the municipality and the local NGOs of Sidi Bouzid will be materialized by the signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement.
